Mushrooms

There are always surprises in my woods. Each daily walk comes up with something new. A blue flower with rabbit ears and yellow face, brilliant green moss, a few turkey feathers, sometimes an owl pellet. Today was the ending of the short lifecycle on some mushrooms I first noticed a few days ago. They appear and disappear from day to day. At some future date yet to be on my calendar, a project or two will emerge from the many photos I’ve taken while walking.
